Terra Lightfoot might have marked the first anniversary of the release of her acclaimed album New Mistakes, but she shows no signs of turning over the keys to the tour van. The charismatic and masterful songwriter-vocalist-guitarist has already logged more than 200 dates in support of the album, and today announced two new weeks of live dates across Western Canada.

The JUNO-nominated and Polaris-longlisted powerhouse has already been warming up.

Last week, Lightfoot joined Winnipeg native Randy Bachman onstage to help christen True North Square outside Bell MTS Place, with set highlights aired on Rogers Sportsnet and NBCSN before the Wednesday Night Hockey broadcast of the Jets-Leafs game. And this weekend, Terra will perform with Jim Cuddy as part of JONI75, The Strombo Show’s tribute to Alberta-born musical giant Joni Mitchell (airing Nov 4, 8pm-12am on CBC Music).

Wrapping up her 2018 run, Lightfoot will be playing Toronto’s Horseshoe Tavern Dec 16 with The Jim Cuddy Band and opening a pair of Blue Rodeo dates: Dec 28 at Peterborough Memorial Centre and Dec 29 at Kitchener’s Centre in the Square.

With New Mistakes, Terra Lightfoot offers up something rare: the kind of genuine document that can only come from a road-tested breed of songwriter and performer. Shot through with the guitarist-vocalist’s powerful, bluesy soul, vivid lyrics and six-string virtuosity, it’s an unforgettable outing. Since the album’s release in fall 2017, Terra has played more than 200 live dates and toured four continents, playing high-energy concerts across the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe. That marathon run of shows continues into 2019. Full tour listings can be found below.
